Stone Hatchet

The Stone Hatchet is a weapon in the Melee Weapons class featured in GTA Online, added to the game as part of the 1.44 After Hours update on August 3, 2018.

This weapon cannot be customized.

The Stone Hatchet also appears in Red Dead 2.

How to get the Stone Hatchet in GTA Online:

The Stone Hatchet can only be obtained in GTA Online as a Bonus Reward.

How to Unlock the Stone Hatchet in GTA Online:

To unlock the Stone Hatchet in GTA Online, you must follow these steps:

• Wait for a text by Maude Eccles, introducing you to the Bounty Hunter activity in Freemode
• Complete the 5 Bounty Target missions given by Maude
• On completion of the 5th bounty, you will receive a text from Maude, giving you the coordinates for the target's secret stash
• Go there to unlock the chest and collect the Stone Hatchet

The Stone Hatchet gives you access to the Rampage ability, which reduces damage taken and speeds up health regeneration while active.

Stone Hatchet Kills Challenge

After completing the bounty hunt, complete 25 melee kills with the Stone Hatchet to earn a GTA$250,000 reward and unlock it in Red Dead Redemption 2.

All melee kills with the Stone Hatchet count towards the goal. To check your progress, visit the weapons entry of the STATS tab from the pause menu. You will also see a message appear after every 10 kills to update you on your progress.

Players must link their Xbox Network or PlayStation Network accounts with their Rockstar Games account in order to unlock the Stone Hatchet in Red Dead Redemption 2.
