Tanisha Jackson

Tanisha Jackson appears as a Minor Character in Grand Theft Auto V.

Tanisha Clinton, born Jackson, is Franklin Clinton's love interest. She grew up in South Los Santos together with Franklin and Lamar Davis, attending the same high school as them.

During the events of Grand Theft Auto: V, Tanisha is Franklin's ex-girlfriend, who has lost interest in him because of his gang lifestyle and the recent death of her brother who was involved in the gang life. Over the course of the story, the two converse over email and phone, but Tanisha mentions the need for a more stable man in her life. At the end of the storyline, Tanisha calls Franklin to inform him about her wedding the following day, having been engaged to a brain surgeon.

Tanisha is hypocritical, criticizing Franklin for giving up his old life and friends in pursuit of a luxurious life, when she had done exactly the same, marrying a rich doctor. She berates Franklin for his recklessness and for "acting crazy" despite being the one to ask him to take on the Ballas and save Lavar, a task that required the death of many gang members.

While Tanisha does not appear physically in Grand Theft Auto: Online, she is seen to be Franklin's wife during the events of The Contract Update, a red Astron with the license plate "TAN1SHA" appearing in Franklin's driveway, and a wooden plaque with "The Clintons" engraved on it being seen on the front of Franklin's house.
