Collector Role

The Collector is one of the Specialist Roles that you can take on and progress through in Red Dead Online.

A Collector loves to explore the world for rare and valuable items. To get started down the Collector’s path, look in the wild for the mystic traveling saleswoman, Madam Nazar, and acquire the Collector's Bag.

The standard entry cost is 15 Gold Bars, but if you successfully collect the 54 hidden playing cards in GTA Online you can obtain the Collector’s Bag for free in Red Dead Online.

With Madam Nazar’s help, you will be able to search for lost jewelry, rare arrowheads, and other treasures. Collect individual pieces and sell them off directly to Madam Nazar, or collect entire sets for even more valuable sales.

Collector Role Rank Unlocks & Rewards

As you progress, you will gain access to useful tools that help your search, including Refined Binoculars, a Horse Lantern, and even a Metal Detector, as well as gaining enhanced searching skills to help you seek and discover the world’s greatest rarities.

You'll also get additional benefits like increased carrying capacities, the ability for your horse to directly pluck and pass herbs to you while mounted, and more.

• Pennington Field Shovel: An essential tool for uncovering buried collectibles
• Potential: Detect disturbed earth when using Eagle Eye
• Intuition: Narrow your search area
• Horse Saddlebag Upgrade: Carry more in your Horse’s saddlebag
• Refined Binoculars: Specialized binoculars that make dig sites glow from a great distance
• Águila Machete: A classic machete restyled for the use of adventurous and belligerent Collectors
• Metal Detector: An important tool which can identify collectibles buried underground
• Equine Assistance: Collect herbs from horseback
• Horse Lantern: Light the path ahead with a lantern attached to your horse’s breastplate
• Valuables Satchel Upgrade: Store more items in your Valuables Pouch
• Criollo Horses: Known for their hardiness and stamina, they're fast and agile
