The Vapid Retinue is a Sports Classics Car featured in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, added to the game as part of the 1.41 Smuggler's Run update on August 29, 2017.
How to get the Retinue in GTA Online:
While it could be purchased in the past, the Retinue has been removed from the in-game stores in June 2023, and currently it can no longer be purchased in GTA Online. Its price was $615,000.
However, you can still get the Retinue from other players at the LS Car Meet, where it's possible to buy a copy of someone else's vehicle.
The removed vehicles may also be made available in a weekly rotation at the following places:
- LS Car Meet Test Rides (3 spots)
- Simeon's Showroom (5 spots)
- Luxury Autos Showroom (2 spots)
- The Vinewood Car Club (10 spots - GTA+ members only)
The Retinue can be stored in any of your Properties/Garages as a Personal Vehicle. It can be customized at Los Santos Customs. You can also modify it in a Vehicle Workshop inside one of your owned properties.
Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Retinue from the Mechanic.
The Retinue can also appear as one of the vehicles that must be stolen and delivered for the "Exotic Exports" side mission, triggered from the player's Auto Shop property.

The design of the Vapid Retinue is based on a real life Ford Escort Mk. I.

The actual top speed of the Retinue in GTA V is 116.00 mph (186.68 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.
Can you sell the Retinue in GTA Online?
Yes, you can sell the Retinue at Los Santos Customs for a resale price of $369,000 (60% of the original purchase), plus 10% of the value of your upgrades.
