Thornton Duggan is a character that appears as a Antagonist in GTA Online, introduced on July 23, 2019 as part of the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort update.
Thornton Duggan is the nephew of the infamous industrialist Avery Duggan, and heir apparent to the Duggan family fortune.
He is less dangerous than his uncle but betrays him to buy the Diamond Casino, becoming the Casino's new owner. Despite being less dangerous and "saving" the casino, he is a sociopathic and cocky individual, going as far as killing his own uncle and celebrating right after.
He is first encountered during the Strong Arm Tactics casino mission, when the Online Protagonist, Tao, his translator and Agatha Baker meet Thornton and Avery for a meeting. The meeting goes sour and Avery orders his men to eliminate the owners. He also reappears during the events of the Diamond Casino Heist update, being the one that Georgina Cheng and her crew take revenge on for humiliating them.
