Challenges

In this mission, the player must follow a course with the Tank, all while blowing up red cars and protecting blue cars. The track must be done in 45 seconds, but blowing up red cars subtracts 5 seconds from the timer, while blowing up blue cars adds 10 seconds to the timer.

In order to pass the mission, the player must finish the track with less than 45 seconds on the timer, earning $50. To get a Silver medal, the timer should be at less than 20 seconds (rewards $100), and for Gold, less than 5 seconds (reward $200).

In this mission, the player must clear rounds of hostile "hobos". There are six rounds of hostiles that must be cleared, who will chase the player and become better equipped and more dangerous as the waves progress.

When starting the mission, the player is stripped of their weapons and receives three timebombs, which automatically detonate a few seconds after being dropped. During rounds, weapons such as dual pistols, micro SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles and miniguns may spawn in the cemetery, and can be picked up by the player to defend themselves.

If the player reaches and survives the 6th round, they will be awarded a gold medal.

In this mission, the player must work as a tattoo artist, applying tattoos with either the device touchscreen or the PSP analog stick. A rating is given to each tattoo done based on the similarity of the given pattern.

The player has a time limit in which they must complete tattoos, and correctly executing them will increaes the time limit. Depending on how many tattoos the player completes in a session, a medal will be awarded: Bronze medal for 10 tattoos, Silver medal for 15 tattoos, and a Gold medal for 20 tattoos.

The player also gains $5 per completed tattoo plus a bonus based on the number of tattoos done in one session.

Around gang areas, Gang Burritos marked with a red indicator will be available to steal. After taking out opposition and delivering the van to one of the player's secluded safehouses (marked with a green icon on the map), they will be able to raid the van for its drug contents.

When the warehouse raid is available, the Spanish Lords will be guarding their warehouse in South Bohan, protecting a drug-filled van. To start the mission, the player must complete a lock-smashing mini-game in front of the warehouse gate, and must then find and steal the drug van parked at the end of the compound. Starting the vehicle also involves another minigame.

The player must take the vehicle and deliver it to their closest secluded safehouse in order to recover the stashed drugs, exactly the same as in Burrito Raids. Before the vehicle is stolen, the guards will open fire at the player if they are spotted. Afterwards, Spanish Lords will chase and attack the player in their vehicles.

The mission rewards several bags of drugs, that will be then stored in the player's holdall or stash box.

Introduced in the mission Under the Gun, the player can search green and red dumpsters throughout Liberty City. When approaching a dumpster, a prompt allows the player to initiate the searching mini-game, where the player must remove garbage bags until an item is revealed. Once completed, a dumpster remains empty for some time until being filled again.
