The Obey Tailgater S is a Sedans and Tuners Car featured in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, added to the game as part of the 1.57 Los Santos Tuners update on July 20, 2021.

The Tailgater S is a variant of the standard Tailgater base model.

As a Tuners vehicle, the Tailgater S can be set to a Lowered Vehicle Stance and have Low Grip Tires applied at the LS Car Meet, which make the car slide more when drifting.

This vehicle also appears in GTA 6.

How to get the Tailgater S in GTA Online:

The Tailgater S can be purchased in GTA Online from Legendary Motorsport for a price of $1,495,000.

The Tailgater S can be stored in any of your Properties/Garages as a Personal Vehicle. It can be customized at Los Santos Customs and LS Car Meet Mod Shop. You can also modify it in a Vehicle Workshop inside one of your owned properties.

Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Tailgater S from the Mechanic.

How to unlock the Tailgater S Trade Price?

A trade price of $1,121,250 (Discounted)* can be unlocked for the Tailgater S. 

*The discounted Trade Price for the Los Santos Tuners vehicles are unlocked randomly, a new vehicle's Trade Price being unlocked every 5 Reputation Levels.

The actual top speed of the Tailgater S in GTA V is 116.00 mph (186.68 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

Can you sell the Tailgater S in GTA Online?

Yes, you can sell the Tailgater S at Los Santos Customs and LS Car Meet Mod Shop, however, starting from May 14, 2026, the resale value has now been capped by Rockstar Games at $500,000 (previously, it was possible to sell vehicles for 60% of the purchase value).

Also, note that sale prices now decrease when selling multiple vehicles in the same week: the 2nd vehicle sells for 50% of the sale value, the 3rd vehicle for 10%, the 4th vehicle for 5%, and the 5th vehicle and beyond for only 2.5% of the sale value.
