The Coil Raiden is an electric Sports Car featured in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, added to the game as part of the 1.42 The Doomsday Heist update on December 12, 2017.

This vehicle also appears in GTA 6.

How to get the Raiden in GTA Online:

The Raiden can be purchased in GTA Online from Legendary Motorsport for a price of $975,000.

The Raiden can be stored in any of your Properties/Garages as a Personal Vehicle. It can be customized at Los Santos Customs. You can also modify it in a Vehicle Workshop inside one of your owned properties.

Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Raiden from the Mechanic.

NB: The price of the Raiden was originally $1,375,000, but it was changed on May 14, 2026.

The Raiden can also appear as one of the vehicles that must be stolen and delivered for the "Exotic Exports" side mission, triggered from the player's Auto Shop property.

It can also arrive at the player's own Auto Shop Service, where you're tasked to modify a customer's car to their specification and deliver it back to them, or you can optionally purchase it directly.

Coil Raiden in Real Life:

The design of the Coil Raiden is based on a real life Tesla Model S.

Coil Raiden Top Speed:

The actual top speed of the Raiden in GTA V is 113.25 mph (182.26 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

Can you sell the Raiden in GTA Online?

Yes, you can sell the Raiden at Los Santos Customs, however, starting from May 14, 2026, the resale value has now been capped by Rockstar Games at $500,000 (previously, it was possible to sell vehicles for 60% of the purchase value).

Also, note that sale prices now decrease when selling multiple vehicles in the same week: the 2nd vehicle sells for 50% of the sale value, the 3rd vehicle for 10%, the 4th vehicle for 5%, and the 5th vehicle and beyond for only 2.5% of the sale value.

    Raiden Description:

The Raiden is a masterpiece of understatement. If it pulled up next to you while you were slumped over, sobbing at the lights, you wouldn't bother to look up from your ex's Snapmatic profile. But then the lights go green, and you see it put down the kind of noiseless acceleration that internal combustion can only dream of. Your iFruit falls from your snotty grip, and you think: maybe the world's not so bad after all.
