This animal can be hunted and skinned. Studying and skinning the American Red Fox is required for the "Zoologist" and "Skin Deep" Achievements.

The American Red Fox is native to the forests and grasslands of West Elizabeth, New Hanover, and Lemoyne. As omnivores, their diet consists of small mammals like squirrels and rabbits, as well as birds, fruits, berries, and grasses. A Bow with Improved Arrows, or a repeater, is considered to be the best weapon to either wound or kill a fox. The skin and claws of American Red Foxes can be used for crafting.
