Community Series Jobs

The GTA Online Community Series is a rotating collection of player-created jobs officially featured by Rockstar Games.

First introduced in September 2022 with the 1.61 Criminal Enterprises update, the Community Series playlists highlight some of the best races, deathmatches, survival maps, and other custom creations made using the GTA Online Creator tools.

Unlike standard Rockstar-created modes, Community Series jobs are built entirely by the community and selected by Rockstar for official promotion, in a similar way to the legacy "Rockstar Verified Jobs" program.

Players can access these featured playlists through the Jobs menu or via the dedicated pink marker in Legion Square. Rockstar regularly rotates the available maps, giving creators a chance to showcase new content while keeping the playlists fresh for returning players.

The Community Series celebrates the talented creators of the GTA Online community with a curated playlist of superbly constructed Jobs.

Community Series

The original Community Series debuted on September 15, 2022. This version of the series combines various job types into a single playlist, including races, deathmatches, survival modes, and other creator-made game modes. It serves as the main umbrella category for Rockstar’s featured community content.

Community Race Series

The Community Race Series was introduced in August 2025 as a racing-focused expansion of the original format. This playlist exclusively features community-created races, including Stunt Races, Transform Races, Open Wheel events, and other custom track designs. Rockstar created this separate category to keep racing lobbies dedicated entirely to competitive driving content.

Community Combat Series

Also added in August 2025, the Community Combat Series focuses on combat-oriented jobs created by players. Featured modes include Deathmatches, Team Deathmatches, King of the Hill maps, Survivals, and similar PvP experiences. The playlist was introduced alongside the Community Race Series as part of Rockstar’s effort to organize community jobs into more specialized categories.

Community Halloween Series

The Community Halloween Series is a seasonal variation centered around horror-themed creator jobs. First appearing during the Halloween 2025 events, this playlist includes spooky stunt races, haunted arenas, survival maps, and themed deathmatches designed around Halloween aesthetics and gameplay. Rockstar typically brings back this category during the October event weeks.

Community Mission Series

The Community Mission Series debuted on April 30, 2026, and focuses on missions created with the new Rockstar Mission Creator that released in December 2025.

Unlike the race and combat playlists, this category highlights cooperative experiences and cinematic missions built with the expanded Creator tools available on newer versions of the game.

As the first creation featured in the Communiy Mission Series, Rockstar Games teamed up with talented and long-time supporters GTA Series Videos to feature"Old School Hits" - a mission inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto trilogy.
