The Cheval Taipan is a Super Car featured in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, added to the game as part of the 1.43 Southern SA Super Sport Series update on March 20, 2018.

How to get the Taipan in GTA Online:

The Taipan can be purchased in GTA Online from Legendary Motorsport for a price of $1,980,000.

The Taipan can be stored in any of your Properties/Garages as a Personal Vehicle. It can be customized at Los Santos Customs. You can also modify it in a Vehicle Workshop inside one of your owned properties.

Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Taipan from the Mechanic.

The Taipan can also appear as one of the vehicles that must be stolen and delivered for the "Exotic Exports" side mission, triggered from the player's Auto Shop property.

The design of the Cheval Taipan is based on a real life Hennessey Venom F5, second generation Ford GT, Trion Nemesis, McLaren P1.

The actual top speed of the Taipan in GTA V is 126.25 mph (203.18 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

Can you sell the Taipan in GTA Online?

Yes, you can sell the Taipan at Los Santos Customs, however, starting from May 14, 2026, the resale value has now been capped by Rockstar Games at $500,000 (previously, it was possible to sell vehicles for 60% of the purchase value).

Also, note that sale prices now decrease when selling multiple vehicles in the same week: the 2nd vehicle sells for 50% of the sale value, the 3rd vehicle for 10%, the 4th vehicle for 5%, and the 5th vehicle and beyond for only 2.5% of the sale value.
