GTA 6 Properties & Safehouses Confirmed So Far

Although Rockstar Games hasn’t yet revealed the full list of in-game properties, this page will be constantly updated as new info becomes available. Once GTA 6 is released, you'll find here the full list of every safehouse, business, and property across Vice City and the state of Leonida.

As with every Grand Theft Auto game, safehouses allow players to save progress, change outfits, store personal vehicles, and perform other activities. GTA 6 also features garages with weapon lockers and deposits for stolen goods.

GTA 6 Safehouses Confirmed So Far

At the moment, three safehouses have been clearly shown so far in official material:

The first is the Starlet Motel in Port Gellhorn, seen in the first trailer of the game, with Jason and Lucia in a room together delivering the iconic lines "Trust? - Trust".
What appears to be the starting safehouse for Jason, located in the Leonida Keys, was shown in the second trailer. The property belongs to drug runner Brian Heder, who is letting Jason live rent-free in exchange for help with his business.
The third safehouse was seen in the GTA V Extended Look gameplay, located in the Bayside area, and likely belongs to Lucia.

However, Rockstar Games stated that GTA 6 will not feature purchasable safehouses as, according to the developers, it wouldn't fit Jason and Lucia's story arc of always being on the run. Instead, new safehouses will automatically be unlocked as you play through the GTA 6 story, in a similar way to Red Dead Redemption 2 camps.

The glimpses of Jason repairing his home in the trailer even hint at potential home maintenance or renovation mechanics, suggesting deeper interaction with owned locations.

Will You Be Able To Buy Properties in GTA 6?

The series has long featured real estate ownership, from buying assets in GTA Vice City to running businesses in GTA V and GTA Online.

However, Rockstar has confirmed that residential safehouses cannot be bought with money in GTA 6. They unlock strictly via story progression as the living situation of Jason & Lucia changes across chapters.

On the other hand, it has been confirmed that Garages can be purchased separately across Leonida to expand personal vehicle storage beyond initial slots.

It is still unknown whether GTA 6 will feature purchasable businesses that generate passive income for the player, similar to GTA V or GTA Vice City.
