The Western Chipmunk is a Small-sized animal of the Chipmunk species, featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.
This animal can be hunted, but cannot be skinned. Studying the Western Chipmunk is required for the "Zoologist" Achievement.

Western Chipmunks are native to forested and brush heavy areas of New Hanover, Lemoyne and West Elizabeth. As omnivores, they forage for seeds, buds, fruits, and nuts. A Bow and Small Game Arrows can be used to hunt chipmunks with minimal damage to their carcasses. Their carcasses can be sold to traders.

The Western Chipmunk yields a carcass and stringy meat. Used in crafting and cooking or can be sold. Use a Bow with a Small Game Arrow for a clean kill.
