Rockstar's parent company, Take Two Interactive recently renewed the trademark Judas. Judas seems to be a mysterious project developed by Rockstar Games.
Judas was first trademarked way back in 2016. The United States Patent & Trademark Office database record show that Take-Two re-registered its trademarks for Judas on May 11. According to the filing, Take Two had filed for extension, till November 2019. It may be the time that the production on Judas may or may not have begun.
Take Two and Rockstar Games have covered up the following details in that filing:
Computer and video game programs and software; downloadable computer and video game programs and software; downloadable digital materials, namely, ring tones, wallpapers, screensavers, digital music files, and graphics, videos, films, multimedia files, live action programs, motion pictures, and animation in the field of video games and computer games, all delivered via global computer networks and wireless networks; pre-recorded digital media featuring computer games and video games, ring tones, wallpapers, screensavers, digital music files, and graphics, videos, films, multimedia files, live action programs, motion pictures, and animation in the field of video games and computer games; USB flash drives; cases for mobile phones and tablets; mouse pads; pre-recorded media featuring music, namely, compact discs, and phonograph records; computer application software for mobile phones, portable media players, tablets, handheld computers and other electronic mobile devices namely, software for video and computer games.
According to the above description, there are a lot of promotional materials like Mobile and Tablet cases, mouse pads, wallpapers and a lot more. A website named www.judasthegame.com is registered to brand protection agency MarkMonitor, which is also the registrar for Rockstar Games website. Maybe it could be one of those 93 titles that are scheduled by Take-Two in the next five years? Time will tell.
