The first Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer is finally here. A bit earlier than planned by Rockstar Games. And we found some juicy stuff. In this article, we list all the Real Life References we found in the first Trailer:
1. Miami Joker
Back in 2017, 29-year-old Lawrence Patrick Sullivan was arrested in Miami, Florida on charges of carrying a concealed firearm.
But it’s his appearance that brought a bit of a Hush to a Miami-Dade courtroom – with his green hair, pale skin, and tattooed facial scars, Lawrence looked an awful lot like Batman’s iconic arch-nemesis, the Joker.
Police arrested Lawrence outside an apartment complex Tuesday after receiving a call that a man with green hair and tattoos was threatening passing cars with a gun. He was later dubbed the "Miami Joker".
2. Twerking on top of Cars
Back in March of 2017, In Miami specifically, there was a rise in car twerkers. Women were jumping on the roofs of cars and twerking their goods for nearby motorists to see.
Following is the original tweet of the shot captured above:

3. Florida man - LeonidaMan
Back in June of 2017, Knoxville police arrested a man Wednesday after witnesses said he threw personal belongings from the balcony of his apartment complex, pulled the fire alarm, and paraded naked up and down Cumberland Avenue.
Although there are similar incidents that were used as references in the past, it is entirely possible that one of them was used to craft this scene in the game.
Not that we are expecting but it would be really funny to see in-game and not just part of some cut-scene.
4. Woman with 2 Hammers - LuchaLibreFan
Over 3 years ago, a white woman was caught on camera attacking a car parked in a residential area in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. This is interestingly the only incident we couldn't find in Florida. But if you of any such in Florida then please do share with us in the comments.
Apparently, the woman had been harassing the owner of the car and his roommates, and allegedly hurling racial abuse at them, since they moved into their home in early 2019. So we could see some heavy racial abuse in the game. Possibly against Lucia, the main protagonist, who is part Latino.
5. Crocodile Incidents
There have been several incidents in Florida due to Alligators and Crocodiles causing panic in public. And Rockstar Games decided to pick a couple of them to show off in the trailer.
It would be hilarious if this were to happen in the game while we visit these locations like a random event. Something Rockstar likes to add in their games.
