The Grand Theft Auto VI leaks have continued to grow over the past few days, with five additional gameplay clips appearing online since the initial footage surfaced on August 18.

The latest material, again attributed to the individual or group known as CYBERLEEK, provides several new glimpses at GTA VI's gameplay systems, including vehicle theft, combat, the weapon wheel, radio stations, aircraft, gas stations, police chases, and even a look at the game's interiors.

As with the two original gameplay leaks, Take-Two Interactive has been actively issuing copyright takedowns against reuploads of the footage, with numerous copies disappearing from social media and video-sharing platforms.

Importantly, the leaked footage is reportedly from an older development build, although a song featured in one of the videos suggests it may be as recent as 2025. That means some of the features and interface elements shown may have been changed or removed since the footage was recorded.

With that in mind, here's a breakdown of what we've learned from the five new GTA 6 gameplay leaks.

GTA 6 Leak #3 - Taser, Car Key Cloning and Police Encounters

The third clip, titled "Taser Video", takes place at night and gives us another look at Jason interacting with security personnel and law enforcement.

Among the most interesting discoveries are:

  • Jason gets involved in an altercation with several security officers.
  • The combat footage shows Jason using a taser, including picking one up and using it against an officer. The taser is called "Coil Shocker".
  • Jason can apparently pick up an NPC's hat and wear it, with the animation closely resembling the hat interactions seen in Red Dead Redemption 2.
  • When approaching certain vehicles, players may have multiple options for stealing them, including "Clone Key" and "Smash Window."
  • The key-cloning option could provide a quieter alternative to smashing a vehicle window, potentially allowing players to steal cars without immediately attracting attention.
  • Jason is shown stealing a large truck/semi-truck after dealing with the security guards.
  • The footage again appears to show vehicle fuel information on the HUD.
  • Jason can apparently surrender during police encounters, while other interaction options such as "Tag" have also been spotted.
  • The combat appears to include more dramatic slow-motion moments when NPCs are incapacitated, reminiscent of some of the animations seen in Red Dead Redemption 2.
  • The nighttime environment provides another impressive look at GTA VI's lighting, reflections, and vehicle rendering.
  • The song playing during the footage has been identified as "Sports Car" by Tate McRae, released in 2025, suggesting the build may be more recent than initially thought.
  • The clip ends with a short cutscene featuring Jason and Cal Hampton.
  • During the scene, Cal makes a joke about avoiding detection because he uses a VPN, which appears to be an obvious reference to the people behind the leaks and their attempts to avoid being identified.

GTA 6 Leak #4 - Weapon Wheel, Zombix and Knife Combat

The fourth clip, known as "Junkies", provides one of the clearest looks yet at GTA VI's inventory and weapon systems. The footage is considerably more violent, with Jason attacking NPCs beneath an overpass before getting involved in another confrontation with police.

Here's what was discovered:

  • Jason steals a police motorcycle during the sequence.
  • Jason is shown attacking a group of homeless NPCs underneath an overpass.
  • A knife is used during the encounter, providing an extended look at GTA VI's melee combat.
  • Several different melee weapons can be seen, including a knife, hunting knife, and switchblade.
  • The knife combat appears to feature significantly more animations than previous GTA games.
  • Jason can suffer visible injuries during melee encounters, including wounds to his arm.
  • The footage provides the first substantial look at GTA VI's weapon wheel. The weapon wheel appears to contain eight weapon slots.
  • There is also a separate item wheel, rather than having every usable item share the same selection system.
  • Two healing items are visible: Zombix and an EpiPen.
  • Zombix appears to restore health, with the game warning that its effectiveness can decrease if it is used too frequently.
  • The minimap appears to behave differently depending on the situation, with it seemingly appearing while driving or when Jason is wanted by police.
  • A bus stop interaction icon can briefly appear near certain bus stops, potentially hinting at some form of fast-travel system.
  • After losing his Wanted level, he can apparently become wanted again when an NPC recognizes him while driving the stolen police vehicle.
  • The weapon used to kill a police officer appears to receive an identification marker, potentially indicating that certain weapons could be associated with crimes.
  • Jason's injuries remain visible after combat, adding another layer of detail to the game's damage system.
  • A Baller dealership can be spotted in the world, with several different Baller models displayed outside.

GTA 6 Leak #5 - Aircraft, Radio Stations and a Massive View of Leonida

The fifth clip takes a very different approach. Instead of focusing on combat, it gives us an extended aerial view of Leonida as Jason flies a crop duster across the map.

This footage may ultimately be one of the most visually impressive leaks, as it gives us a much better understanding of the scale and density of GTA VI's world.

Things spotted include:

  • Jason is shown piloting a crop duster aircraft.
  • The flight begins around the Leonida Keys before heading towards Vice City.
  • The footage provides an enormous aerial view of the GTA VI map.
  • The scale of Vice City and the surrounding countryside is particularly impressive from the air.
  • There appears to be a very high draw distance, with distant buildings and terrain remaining visible far into the horizon.
  • The game appears to feature detailed volumetric clouds and atmospheric effects.
  • Several previously revealed locations can apparently be identified from the air, including areas shown in earlier trailers.
  • Lucia's prison can reportedly be spotted in the distance.
  • The terrace pool seen in the first GTA VI trailer can also apparently be identified.
  • A race track is visible in the wider landscape.
  • The video provides the first significant look at the game's radio station selection interface.
  • Several radio stations are listed: Stockyard FM, DNU, Emotion, Symphony FM, Back Country Radio, V-Rock, CircoLoco Records Radio, Dirty South Classics, Honey FM
  • The player selects "Overpowered" by Róisín Murphy on Stockyard FM.
  • An "On-Demand" option also appears within the radio interface, although its exact purpose is unknown.
  • CircoLoco Records Radio appears to return from GTA Online, suggesting Rockstar is once again incorporating its existing music brands into the new game.

The final moments of this clip are perhaps even more significant than the aerial footage itself. Jason lands and is shown firing a carbine rifle into a wall, deliberately creating the word "LEEK" from the bullet impacts.

That appears to be a direct reference to CYBERLEEK and strongly suggests that whoever is producing these videos has access to a playable build of GTA VI - or is working very closely with someone who does.

GTA 6 Leak #6 - Hypercar, Carjacking and Driving

After around a day without any new footage, CYBERLEEK returned with another clip titled "Hypercar." This time, the focus is almost entirely on driving, giving us an unusually long look at Jason stealing and driving a high-performance vehicle through Leonida.

Among the details spotted:

  • Jason approaches a Truffade Thrax, a hypercar resembling a modern Bugatti.
  • Instead of simply opening the vehicle, Jason tries the door and discovers it is locked.
  • He then smashes the driver's-side window and reaches inside to unlock the door.
  • The driver resists, forcing Jason to physically pull him out of the vehicle.
  • The carjacking sequence features more detailed animations than we've seen in previous GTA games.
  • Jason then drives the hypercar through the streets and highways around Vice City.
  • The vehicle's handling appears considerably more detailed, with noticeably softer suspension and more realistic body movement.
  • Brake discs visibly glow from heat during heavy braking.
  • Modern vehicles appear to have functional daytime running lights.
  • NPC vehicles can be seen using turn indicators.
  • Vehicle interiors appear to have been significantly redesigned, with detailed dashboards and ambient lighting.
  • The minimap appears to have a 3D element, showing elevation changes on roads, bridges, and highways.
  • The game's fuel and engine indicators remain visible during the drive.
  • The overall environment features an extremely high level of detail, particularly in roads, buildings, vehicles and lighting.
  • The footage is notably calm, with Jason driving relatively carefully for much of the sequence rather than constantly crashing into traffic.

While this clip doesn't reveal a major new gameplay system like the weapon wheel or key cloning, it offers perhaps the best close-up look yet at GTA VI's driving, vehicles and urban environment.

The level of detail in the roads, reflections, vehicle interiors and surrounding buildings is particularly impressive, although the relatively rough-looking interface again suggests that the footage comes from an older development build.

GTA 6 Leak #7 - Gas Stations, Robberies and More Police Gameplay

The seventh clip, titled "Hypercar Part 2," continues from the previous vehicle-focused footage but introduces considerably more gameplay. This time Jason is shown stopping at a gas station, robbing it and subsequently dealing with police.

Here's what we've spotted:

  • Gas stations can be used to refuel vehicles, confirming that fuel appears to be an actual gameplay mechanic.
  • Players can apparently also repair their vehicle at gas stations.
  • Multiple gas stations can be seen close together in some areas, potentially making it easier to find somewhere to refuel.
  • Jason robs a gas station, including interacting with the cash register.
  • The animations involved in stealing money appear significantly more detailed than in GTA V.
  • NPCs react to Jason when he is openly carrying a weapon. One NPC warns Jason to put his weapon away.
  • Police don't immediately open fire in every situation and can instead warn the player before escalating.
  • Officers can be heard ordering Jason to exit the vehicle and warning him not to play dumb.
  • The police pursuit provides another look at how law enforcement reacts to crimes.
  • A stolen vehicle can apparently be tracked, with a tracker indicator flashing when the vehicle stops moving.
  • The game features significantly more detailed vehicle crash damage.
  • Heavy collisions can trigger a brief slow-motion effect, emphasizing particularly violent crashes.
  • The vehicle's engine meter changes as it takes damage, with the car beginning to smoke as the engine condition deteriorates.
  • A third purple meter appears alongside the health and stamina indicators, accompanied by an eye icon. This could potentially represent Jason's Focus ability or another special character attribute, although its exact function is unknown.
  • NPCs appear to react realistically when shot, including attempting to cover their wounds.
  • Shelves inside the store contain individually rendered bottles and products, highlighting the level of environmental detail.
  • The radio plays "Pound Town" by Sexyy Red & Tay Keith and "Bills Paid" by DJ Khaled featuring Latto and City Girls.
  • The clip ends with a brief glimpse of the Delights strip club in Port Gellhorn.
  • Jason's entrance animation for the strip club provides another example of the game's detailed character animations.
  • The song playing inside the strip club is reportedly "Roller" by April Wine.
  • CYBERLEEK again uses the video to promote its cryptocurrency, stating that reaching a particular market capitalization will unlock more footage from the strip club.

The gas station footage is particularly interesting because it provides the clearest indication yet that fuel and vehicle maintenance may be integrated into normal GTA VI gameplay.

Exactly how involved the system will be remains unknown. The footage appears to show refueling and repairs through simple interaction prompts, but it is possible that other methods or animations exist in the final game.

What These Five New GTA 6 Leaks Tell Us

Taken together, the latest clips have revealed a surprising amount about GTA VI despite being unofficial and apparently originating from an older build.

Some of the biggest discoveries include:

  • A key-cloning system for stealing vehicles.
  • Separate weapon and item wheels.
  • New healing items including Zombix and EpiPens.
  • Potential stamina and Focus/special ability systems.
  • More advanced NPC reactions and interactions.
  • Detailed vehicle fuel and engine systems.
  • Possible vehicle tracking and identification mechanics.
  • More sophisticated police detection and Wanted systems.
  • A return to six-star Wanted levels.
  • Expanded melee combat and injury animations.
  • A large selection of radio stations.
  • Detailed aircraft gameplay and a huge aerial view of Leonida.
  • More advanced vehicle damage and crash physics.
  • A much more detailed world, with highly populated and individually rendered environments.

Perhaps most importantly, the footage has reinforced the impression that GTA VI's world is going to be enormous and extremely detailed, particularly outside Vice City itself.

Who Is CYBERLEEK and Will More GTA 6 Footage Leak?

CYBERLEEK has continued to release footage despite Take-Two's efforts to remove the material from the internet.

The individual or group behind the leaks claims to be protesting against several practices within the modern games industry, including digital pre-orders, paid content and the lack of permanent access to single-player games. However, the campaign has also been closely tied to the promotion of a CYBERLEEK cryptocurrency, making the group's stated motivations difficult to separate from its attempts to profit from the attention.

The leaker has repeatedly suggested that more GTA VI footage could be released, with the amount of content apparently dependent on the cryptocurrency's market capitalization.

The "LEEK" message written into a wall with bullets has also led many observers to believe that CYBERLEEK - or someone working directly with them - has access to a playable GTA VI development build rather than simply possessing a handful of isolated video files.

Take-Two is clearly taking the situation seriously. The company has reportedly gone as far as seeking information from Microsoft and Discord in an effort to identify those responsible for distributing the leaked material.

For now, however, the identity of the person or people behind CYBERLEEK remains unknown.

GTA 6 Extended Look Coming August 27

The timing of these leaks couldn't be more significant. Rockstar Games is scheduled to premiere Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on August 27, giving fans their next major official look at the game.

The presentation will debut on Netflix at 3 PM ET, before being released six hours later on Rockstar's official YouTube channel and the GTA VI website.

That means Rockstar's official showcase is now just days away, and it will be particularly interesting to see how much of what we've seen in the leaked footage appears in the official presentation.

With CYBERLEEK continuing to tease additional material, there's also a possibility that more footage could emerge before Rockstar's presentation - or even afterwards.

Whatever happens next, GTA VI's marketing campaign has certainly taken an unexpected turn.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
