The Construction Assassination is an optional story mission in Grand Theft Auto V given by Lester Crest , involving protagonist Franklin Clinton .
This is one of Lester's Assassinations missions, which is optional for story progression, but still required for 100% completion. It's strongly advised to play this mission after the main storyline is completed, in order to make the most profit.
In the last Assassination, Lester tells Franklin to take down Enzo Bonelli, a mafia member turned real estate developer.
Gold Medal Objectives (100%)
The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "The Construction Assassination":
- Time: Time taken to complete mission.
- No Fly Zone: Shoot down the target's helicopter.
- Money Earned: Money earned from the hit.
Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.
The Construction Assassination - Mission Details:
Franklin picks up a call from a ringing payphone. Lester has got another assassination. This time it's Enzo Bonelli, a mafia guy turned real estate developer. He's managed to get half the building contracts in Los Santos through extortion, murder and other various demeaning ways.
Lester tells Franklin that Enzo is at one of his construction sites in Downtown Los Santos. The only issue is Lester's source squealed meaning Enzo now knows someone is after him. Lester recommends Franklin enters the site equipped as he'll have a lot of muscle.
Franklin heads to the construction site. He can stop off at Ammu-nation prior if extra gunpower is needed. Once at the construction site, a cutscene plays showing Enzo escaping to the roof so he's near his chopper.
Franklin makes his way to the roof of the construction site while dealing with the guards that are scattered all over each level of the site. When Franklin gets to the roof, Enzo will escape in his chopper and send more guards out to Franklin. With Enzo now in the chopper, Franklin uses a Rocket Launcher to down it, killing Enzo.
Franklin can either jump off the side in a parachute to climb back down to leave the site. Once far enough away, Franklin will call Lester to say the job is done.
Important Stock Market Investments:
The Assassination Missions play a huge role in the GTA V Stock Market, with the targets' deaths affecting the stock value of specific companies. The player can make huge profits by purchasing and selling certain stocks at the right times.
Assassinations can be done after the end of the main story. So it's best to first complete the Story Missions before doing any other Assassination Mission, in order to have the most millions of dollars to invest.
Before this mission:
- Invest all the money of all three protagonists in GoldCoast (GCD) stocks on the LCN site
After this mission:
- Wait a few in-game days before selling the GoldCoast stocks so that they can reach their maximum value; the maximum percentage of return is ~80%.
Note: To make the in-game time advance faster, you can sleep or simply enter the save menu from a character's bed without saving. Make sure to create a save slot before starting an assassination mission, so that if the peak return is missed you can reload the previous save.
